Seoul: President Yoon Suk Yeol on Tuesday headed to a military hospital in central Seoul after making his first appearance at his impeachment trial at the Constitutional Court, sources said.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Yoon and his escort vehicles departed from the court at 4:42 p.m. and traveled to the Armed Forces Seoul Capital District Hospital.

The reason for Yoon's visit to the hospital was not immediately known.
