Yoon Arrives in Brazil for G20 Summit Focused on Global Challenges.

Rio de Janeiro: President Yoon Suk Yeol arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday to participate in the Group of 20 (G20) summit, a key international forum representing the world's major economies. The summit is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, bringing together leaders from around the globe to discuss pressing global issues. According to Yonhap News Agency, President Yoon traveled from Lima to Rio de Janeiro to engage in the summit's discussions. On the summit's first day, he will participate in the launch of the Global Alliance for Hunger and Poverty, where he is expected to detail South Korea's efforts and contributions towards alleviating global hunger. On the following day, President Yoon will propose initiatives aimed at combating climate change and fostering a transition to clean energy sources during a G20 session. This reflects South Korea's commitment to addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainable development. The G20 comprises 19 major economies, along with the European U nion and the African Union, collectively representing 85 percent of the global gross domestic product, 75 percent of international trade, and approximately 80 percent of the world's population. The summit provides a platform for these nations to collaborate on global economic and policy issues.
