Seoul: A woman in her 60s died after crashing her car into a hagwon bus while driving in western Seoul, police said Friday. The incident occurred when the woman's vehicle first collided with a roadside tree and then hit a bus operated by a private education institution at an intersection in Yeongdeungpo Ward at 3:25 p.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the collision resulted in the death of the car's driver. Additionally, two passengers on the bus were injured, alongside four pedestrians who sustained minor injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. Police plan to analyze security cameras in the area and review the black boxes of other vehicles to determine the cause of the crash.
