Seoul: Second Vice Foreign Minister Kim Jina engaged in discussions with Haoliang Xu, the acting chief of the U.N. Development Program (UNDP), to enhance efforts in addressing humanitarian needs in conflict-affected countries.

According to Yonhap News Agency, during the meeting, Kim evaluated South Korea's collaboration with the UNDP and emphasized the necessity for "tangible outcomes" from the humanitarian assistance initiative known as the "REVIVE" program. This program, a joint effort between Seoul and the U.N. agency, aims to provide relief, employment, and vital infrastructure for vulnerable populations in emergency situations.

The REVIVE program primarily focuses on recovery efforts in regions experiencing ongoing humanitarian crises, such as Palestine, Afghanistan, and Myanmar.
