Stray Kids Celebrates Ninth Billboard 200 No. 1 Milestone with ‘This and That’

Seoul: K-pop boy band Stray Kids expressed a deep sense of honor as they announced their ninth consecutive album has secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. This milestone marks a significant achievement for both the group and the K-pop industry.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Billboard revealed in a chart preview that Stray Kids' 10th EP, "This and That," has claimed the top position this week. The boy band now ranks second in the chart's history for the most No. 1 albums, trailing behind The Beatles with 19 and tying with The Rolling Stones.

In a statement through JYP Entertainment, Stray Kids remarked on reaching their ninth No. 1 in nine years since their debut, noting the significance of this milestone. The group highlighted that this achievement set a new record for the most No. 1 albums by a group in the 21st century.

The EP "This and That" includes eight tracks, featuring a title track of the same name. The band describes the EP as embodying a bold attitude and the confidence to pursue desires without conforming to conventions.

Stray Kids previously reached No. 1 on the chart with albums "Oddinary" and "Maxident" in 2022, "5-Star" and "Rock-Star" in 2023, "Ate" and "Hop" in 2024, and "Karma" and "Do It" in 2025. The group attributes this success to their fans, known as Stay, for their unwavering support.

The group reaffirmed their commitment to broadening their musical range and following their unique path. They expressed a desire to demonstrate to global music fans the boundless growth of both Stray Kids and the K-pop genre.
