Stable Rates Observed in Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR)

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained largely stable across various terms as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 1-month rates were unchanged at 2.50% and 2.62% respectively. The 2-month and 3-month rates also showed no movement, holding steady at 2.71% and 2.82%.

The 6-month term saw a slight decrease from the previous session, moving from 2.85% to 2.84%. Similarly, the 12-month rate decreased slightly, falling from 2.83% to 2.82%.

These rates reflect the interest rates at which banks offer to lend unsecured funds to other banks in the interbank market in South Korea.
