Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained largely stable as observed in the latest figures released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency. The rates, a crucial benchmark for lending among banks in South Korea, were posted at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR stood unchanged at 2.50%, maintaining its level from the previous session. Similarly, the 1-month and 2-month rates held steady at 2.51%. A slight change was noted in the 3-month term, which saw a minor decrease from 2.52% to 2.51%.
In contrast, the 6-month KORIBOR experienced a slight increase, moving from 2.51% to 2.52%. The 12-month rate remained consistent at 2.52%. These figures reflect a predominantly stable pattern in the interbank lending rates, with only minimal fluctuations observed.
