South Korean Bond Yields Show Upward Trend Across All Maturities

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced an increase across all maturities as observed on the morning of April 13, 2026. The yields on various treasury bonds and corporate bonds saw an upward shift, with the 10-year treasury bond yield experiencing the highest rise.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the yield on the 1-year treasury bond increased to 2.949%, reflecting a change of 1.7 basis points from the previous session's 2.932%. The 2-year treasury bond yield rose by 4.0 basis points, reaching 3.268% from 3.228% in the prior session. Similarly, the 3-year treasury bond yield saw an uptick of 4.7 basis points, climbing to 3.407% from 3.360%.

The 10-year treasury bond yield exhibited the most significant rise, advancing by 5.7 basis points to 3.743% from the previous session's 3.686%. Meanwhile, the 2-year monetary stabilization bond increased by 3.9 basis points, settling at 3.302% from 3.263%.

In the corporate bond market, the 3-year corporate bond with an AA- rating witnessed a rise of 4.9 basis points, moving to 4.067% from its previous rate of 4.018%.
