South Korean Bond Yields Show Slight Increase Across Terms

Seoul: South Korean bond yields experienced a slight increase across most terms on May 11, 2026. Short-term yields, including the 1-year Treasury Bonds (TB), saw a minimal rise, while longer-term bonds like the 10-year TB showed a more significant uptick.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year TB yield rose from 3.008% to 3.022%, marking a change of 1.4 basis points. The 2-year TB yield increased by 2.9 basis points to 3.485%, and the 3-year TB saw a similar rise of 2.9 basis points, reaching 3.598%. The 10-year TB yield registered the largest change, climbing by 4.1 basis points to 3.950%.

Additionally, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield increased by 2.9 basis points to 3.496%. The 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) with an AA- rating saw its yield rise by 2.7 basis points to 4.245%. Meanwhile, the 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) yield remained unchanged at 2.810%.
