South Korean Bond Yields See Mixed Changes

Seoul:South Korean bond yields experienced varied changes on October 8, 2026, with some increases and a slight decrease observed across different maturities.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the yield on the 1-year treasury bond slightly decreased by 0.1 basis points to 3.741% from the previous session. Meanwhile, the 2-year treasury bond yield rose by 1.0 basis point to 3.908%.

The 3-year treasury bond yield increased by 2.2 basis points, reaching 3.983%, while the 10-year treasury bond yield saw a rise of 1.9 basis points, standing at 4.395%.

Additionally, the 2-year monetary stabilization bond yield climbed by 1.4 basis points to 3.915%. The 3-year corporate bond (AA-) yield saw a minor increase of 0.7 basis points, marking 4.651%. The 91-day certificate of deposit yield remained unchanged at 3.240%.
