South Korean Bond Yields Rise in September 2026

Seoul:South Korean bond yields experienced a notable increase on the morning of September 28, 2026.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the yield on the 1-year Treasury Bond rose to 3.734% from 3.667%, marking an increase of 6.7 basis points. Similarly, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield climbed by 9.5 basis points to 4.069%, up from 3.974%.

The 3-year Treasury Bond showed a rise of 10.6 basis points, reaching 4.112% compared to the previous 4.006%. Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury Bond yield increased by 15 basis points, moving from 4.392% to 4.542%.

Additionally, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield increased by 9.4 basis points, reaching 4.063% from 3.969%. The 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield rose by 9.8 basis points to 4.787%, up from 4.689%.
