Seoul:The budget ministry announced that it has briefed a delegation of senior Vietnamese government officials on South Korea's public financial management policies.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Kang Young-kyu, a senior official responsible for future strategy at the budget ministry, met with the delegation led by Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi. The meeting focused on sharing South Korea's fiscal policies and discussing bilateral exchanges.
The visit was prompted by a recommendation from the World Bank, as Vietnam aims to learn from South Korea's fiscal policies and reform experiences.
The budget ministry expressed its intention to continue sharing its expertise in budget management and future strategy with major partners, including Vietnam, and to identify specific cooperation projects.
