Seoul: South Korea witnessed an increase in bond yields across multiple tenures as of September 7, 2026. The yields for various treasury bonds and monetary stabilization bonds saw a rise compared to the previous session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield rose by 0.6 basis points, reaching 3.475% from the previous 3.469%. The 2-year treasury bond yield increased by 1.3 basis points, settling at 3.720% compared to 3.707% in the last session. Meanwhile, the 3-year treasury bond yield went up by 1.6 basis points, climbing to 3.900% from the prior 3.884%.
The 10-year treasury bond yield experienced the most significant rise, increasing by 2.5 basis points, reaching 4.385% from the previous 4.360%. The 2-year monetary stabilization bond yield increased by 1.5 basis points, up to 3.782% from 3.767%. The 3-year corporate bond rated AA- saw a rise of 0.8 basis points, reaching 4.575% from 4.567%. Meanwhile, the 91-day certificate of deposit rate remained unchanged at 3.120%.
