South Korea Braces for Rainy Start to the Week

Seoul: The weather forecast for Monday indicates that South Korea's 12 major cities are expected to experience varying weather conditions with a predominant chance of rain. Temperatures are predicted to range from highs of 28 to 32 degrees Celsius and lows of 22 to 25 degrees Celsius. Notably, Seoul, Incheon, Suwon, Cheongju, Daejeon, Chuncheon, Gangneung, Jeonju, Gwangju, Jeju, Daegu, and Busan will see significant weather activity.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the capital city of Seoul, along with Incheon, will experience rain with temperatures peaking at 30 degrees Celsius and dropping to a low of 24 degrees Celsius. The same conditions are expected for Cheongju and Daejeon, with slightly higher temperatures in Daejeon reaching 32 degrees.

In contrast, Suwon forecasts a sunny day despite sharing the same temperature range as Seoul and Incheon, with a significant possibility of rain at 60%. Meanwhile, Chuncheon and Gangneung will experience rain, with temperatures slightly cooler in Chuncheon, dropping to 22 degrees Celsius.

Southern cities, including Jeonju, Gwangju, and Jeju, are anticipated to have rainy conditions as well, with highs reaching 32 degrees Celsius in Jeonju and Gwangju, and 31 degrees Celsius in Jeju. Daegu and Busan will also see rain, with the highs and lows in these cities remaining steady at 28 and 23-24 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Overall, the forecast indicates a high likelihood of rain across the nation, suggesting residents should prepare for wet conditions as the week begins.
