South Korea Braces for Rain and Sleet in Major Cities

Seoul: South Korea's major cities are preparing for varied weather conditions this Saturday, with forecasts predicting rain, sleet, and cloudy skies across the nation.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul, Incheon, and Suwon will experience cloudy conditions with temperatures peaking at 7°C, 5°C, and 6°C respectively, and no expected rainfall. In contrast, Cheongju and Daejeon will see sleet, with temperatures reaching 7°C and 8°C and a 20% and 30% chance of precipitation respectively.

Chuncheon and Gangneung are also expected to have cloudy skies, with Chuncheon experiencing a low of -4°C and a high of 7°C, while Gangneung may see a 30% chance of rain with temperatures ranging from 6°C to 2°C.

Meanwhile, significant rain is anticipated in Jeonju, Gwangju, and Jeju, with probabilities of 60% and 70%. Jeonju and Gwangju will have temperatures around 7°C, while Jeju will be warmer with highs reaching 10°C.

In Daegu, sleet is forecasted with a 60% chance of precipitation and temperatures ranging from 7°C to 3°C. Busan will also experience rain with a 70% likelihood and temperatures between 9°C and 6°C.
