Seoul: South Korea is set to experience a chilly Sunday as temperatures across its 12 major cities are forecasted to dip significantly. The capital city, Seoul, along with Incheon and Suwon, will see temperatures dropping to -13°C, with the day remaining sunny and no chance of rain.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other cities like Cheongju and Daejeon will also face similar cold conditions with low temperatures reaching -11°C and -12°C, respectively. While Cheongju will enjoy sunny weather, Daejeon will see cloudy skies, though the possibility of rain remains at zero percent.

In contrast, Jeonju and Gwangju will experience relatively milder conditions with lows of -10°C and -8°C. While Jeonju is expected to remain sunny with a 20 percent chance of rain, Gwangju may encounter snow with the same probability of precipitation.

Jeju stands out with a forecast of snow and a high likelihood of precipitation at 60 percent. The temperature on the island will range from a high of 3°C to a low of -1°C. Meanwhile, cities like Chuncheon, Gangneung, Daegu, and Busan will enjoy sunny weather with no expected rainfall, despite the cold temperatures.

Overall, South Korea will experience a predominantly sunny Sunday with a few regions anticipating snowfall, primarily in Jeju and Gwangju. Residents are advised to prepare for the low temperatures and potential snow in these areas.
