Seoul: A weather forecast for South Korea's 12 major cities indicates a widespread occurrence of sleet and rain on Tuesday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, temperatures are expected to vary across the regions, with Seoul, Incheon, and Suwon all experiencing highs of 6°C and lows of -1°C, accompanied by a 60% chance of sleet.
Cheongju and Daejeon are predicted to have similar weather, with 60% and 70% chances of sleet, respectively. Cheongju will see temperatures ranging from a high of 5°C to a low of 1°C, while Daejeon will range from 5°C to 0°C. In Chuncheon, temperatures are expected to drop to -4°C with a high of 6°C, along with a 60% chance of sleet.
Gangneung and Jeonju are forecasted to have a 70% chance of sleet, with temperatures in Gangneung reaching a high of 8°C and a low of 4°C, and Jeonju experiencing a high of 7°C and a low of 1°C. Gwangju, Jeju, and Busan are anticipated to receive rain, with a 70% probability. Gwangju and Jeju will see highs of 7°C and 11°C, respectively, while Busan will have a high of 10°C. The low temperatures for these cities will be 1°C for Gwangju, 7°C for Jeju, and 5°C for Busan.
Daegu, like several other cities, is also expected to have sleet with a 60% chance and temperatures ranging from a high of 5°C to a low of 1°C.
