Santa clara: SK hynix Inc. announced its participation in the annual technology conference hosted by Nvidia Corp. in California, focusing on its leadership in memory chips for the artificial intelligence (AI) sector. The event, which is taking place over four days, began on Monday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SK hynix is operating an exhibition booth at Nvidia GTC 2026 under the theme "Spotlight on AI Memory." The exhibition will showcase how SK hynix's sixth-generation high bandwidth memory, or HBM4, integrates with Nvidia's AI platforms. Additionally, the company will demonstrate memory solutions that are designed to reduce data bottlenecks and enhance performance in AI training and inference on Nvidia's platforms.
SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and SK hynix CEO Kwak Noh-jung are also scheduled to meet with representatives from major companies, including Nvidia, to explore further business collaborations during the event. SK hynix emphasized the evolving role of memory in AI technology, stating that it is becoming a crucial element in determining AI infrastructure's architecture and performance.
The company aims to influence the future of AI by applying its memory expertise across the AI spectrum, from data centers to on-device applications, in collaboration with its global partners.
