Seoul: SK Bioscience Co. on Wednesday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 2.7 billion won (US$1.8 million), shifting from a profit of 4.2 billion won a year earlier. The company faced a challenging financial period, marking a significant change from its previous year's performance.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that it continued to post an operating loss of 50.8 billion won for the October-December period, compared with a loss of 8.4 billion won a year earlier. Despite the losses, sales increased by 73.1 percent, reaching 156.8 billion won.
