Incheon: The top two players in men's tennis, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, are scheduled to face off in an exhibition match in South Korea this coming January. This highly anticipated event, titled the "Hyundai Card Super Match," will take place at 4 p.m. on January 10, 2026, at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, located just west of Seoul.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Card announced that tickets for this event will be available for purchase by Hyundai Card holders starting at noon on November 18, with a 10 percent discount offered to those who use their Hyundai Card. The general public will have access to ticket sales beginning at noon on November 19, through NOL Ticket.

Jannik Sinner, a 24-year-old Italian, and Carlos Alcaraz, a 22-year-old Spaniard, have emerged as the leading figures in men's tennis since the conclusion of the era dominated by the "Big Three" - Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic. The pair have been alternating at the top of the rankings since June of last year. Sinner recently reclaimed the No. 1 spot by winning the Rolex Paris Masters.

The duo has shared the last eight men's Grand Slam singles titles, with Sinner winning the Australian Open and the U.S. Open last year, as well as the Australian Open and Wimbledon this year. Alcaraz secured victories at the French Open and Wimbledon in 2024, and the French Open and the U.S. Open in 2025.

In their head-to-head encounters, Alcaraz holds a 10-5 lead over Sinner. Notably, Alcaraz defeated Sinner in both of his major title victories this year, while Sinner triumphed in the Wimbledon final.

Hyundai Card has a history of hosting notable tennis matches featuring legendary players in South Korea, including matchups between Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams in 2005, Federer versus Nadal in 2006, Federer against Pete Sampras in 2007, and Djokovic facing Andy Roddick in 2010.
