Seoul Subway Line 1 Operations Disrupted Due to Emergency Power Line Work

Seoul: Seoul Subway Line 1 operations were disrupted Monday due to emergency power line repair work, forcing trains to skip Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station, the subway operator said.

According to Yonhap News Agency, trains bound for Yeoncheon Station were passing through the station without stopping and running behind schedule, Korea Railroad Corp. (KORAIL) said in a notice issued at about 5 p.m.

A KORAIL official said the exact cause of the power line issue was under investigation.
