Berlin: South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics Co. announced Wednesday that it will showcase a range of new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered home appliances at IFA 2026, a major home electronics trade show.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung will present its vision of "AI Living," which extends beyond an AI-powered home that connects household appliances and smart devices to encompass everyday life at the annual tech show, running from Wednesday through Sunday.

The exhibition space is divided into three themes: entertainment, home companion, and care companion. In the entertainment zone, Samsung will display new TVs and monitors featuring next-generation display technologies.

The home companion zone will include home appliances that enhance energy efficiency and optimize space usage through AI. Notably, the "Bespoke" refrigerator employs camera-based AI vision technology to identify food ingredients and propose recipes. It also includes an energy management function for users to monitor and control the power consumption of connected appliances. Additionally, Samsung will introduce space-saving kitchen appliances, including a hood-integrated induction cooktop and a built-in dishwasher.

The care companion zone will highlight a range of Galaxy products, including the latest Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Z Fold 8 series. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Galaxy S26 FE, which is set to launch on Friday.
