Seoul: Samsung C and T Corp. has announced a significant decrease in its second-quarter net income, which fell by 28.3 percent to 526.5 billion won (US$380.9 million) compared to the same period last year. This financial update was released by the company on Wednesday, highlighting the challenges faced in the recent quarter.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung C and T's operating income also saw a decline, reporting 752.6 billion won for the April-June period, down 16.4 percent from the previous year. Additionally, the company's sales experienced an 8.9 percent decrease, totaling 10.02 trillion won.
