Samsung Card on Friday reported its first-quarter net income of 156.3 billion won (US$105.4 million), reflecting a decline of 15.2 percent from the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the January-March period decreased by 14.3 percent year-on-year to 210 billion won. Despite the decrease in operating income, Samsung Card's sales saw an increase of 20.5 percent, reaching 1.28 trillion won.
