Seoul: Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc. have achieved significant recognition at IFA 2026, a prominent home electronics trade show held in Berlin. The two companies secured a total of 11 awards, acknowledging their capabilities in technology and design.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Electronics received four innovation awards at the event, which took place from Wednesday through Sunday. Among Samsung's award-winning products, the Bespoke wall-mounted air conditioner stood out by securing innovation awards in both the design and home appliances categories. The air conditioner features a clean and flat design with ultra-precise holes positioned strategically, allowing it to blend seamlessly with its surroundings.

LG Electronics excelled with seven product awards, including the prestigious best brand award. This award, introduced last year, is the highest brand recognition at the IFA innovation awards, highlighting overall brand excellence based on criteria such as technological innovation, market impact, and design.
