He also presented updates on the government's ambitious "megaproject" initiative, announced in June, which focuses on AI data centers, advanced semiconductors, and physical AI.

Minister Bae reaffirmed South Korea's dedication to aiding the development of a global AI ecosystem and urged participating nations to take an interest in South Korea's digital policies. Following the discussions, participants are expected to issue a ministerial statement, as stated by the science ministry.
