S. Korean Bond Yields Show Mixed Movements on Nov. 18, 2024.

Seoul: South Korean bond yields on November 18, 2024, displayed a range of movements across various maturities. The changes in yields reflect shifts in the financial market conditions, with certain bonds showing slight increases while others experienced declines. According to Yonhap News Agency, the yield on the 1-year Treasury Bond slightly increased to 2.894% from the previous session's 2.893%, marking a change of 0.1 basis points. Meanwhile, the 2-year Treasury Bond yield decreased by 1.5 basis points, moving to 2.961% from 2.976%. The 3-year Treasury Bond saw a more significant drop of 2.6 basis points, settling at 2.915% compared to 2.941% in the previous session. The 10-year Treasury Bond yield also declined, falling by 2.1 basis points to 3.063% from 3.084%. Similarly, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield decreased by 1.6 basis points, now at 2.961% from 2.977%. For corporate bonds, the 3-year Corporate Bond with an AA- rating fell by 2.4 basis points to 3.482% from 3.506%. The 91-day Certif icate of Deposit remained unchanged at 3.440%, indicating stability in short-term deposit rates during this session.
