Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks displayed varied performances on Monday, with several companies experiencing notable changes in their closing prices. Among the biggest gainers were Samsung SDS, which increased by 8,700 KRW to close at 148,300 KRW, and KCC, which rose by 9,500 KRW to end at 240,000 KRW. Conversely, Lotte Chemical Corp and Doosan saw significant declines in their stock prices, dropping by 7,500 KRW and 28,500 KRW to settle at 65,900 KRW and 209,000 KRW, respectively. According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable changes included Celltrion's stock price increasing by 7,200 KRW to reach 172,600 KRW, while SK hynix experienced a decrease of 6,500 KRW, closing at 171,700 KRW. Mobis also saw a substantial rise of 7,000 KRW, ending the day at 258,500 KRW. Meanwhile, Hanwha Aerospace's stock fell by 14,500 KRW to 392,500 KRW. Additionally, TKG Huchems and JB Financial Group had contrasting fortunes, with TKG Huchems gaining 240 KRW to close at 18,560 KRW, while JB Financial Group decreased by 210 KRW, ending at 18,010 KRW. Hyundai Rotem and Daewoong Pharm also experienced declines in their stock prices, with Hyundai Rotem decreasing by 900 KRW to 63,900 KRW and Daewoong Pharm dropping by 3,500 KRW to close at 127,500 KRW. Other stocks that saw upward movements included L and F, which rose by 4,500 KRW to 102,000 KRW, and Kumho Petrochem, which increased by 4,900 KRW to 107,400 KRW. In contrast, SKBP experienced a decrease of 2,100 KRW, closing at 101,200 KRW.
