S. Korean Bond Yields Show Mixed Movements in June 2026

Seoul: South Korean bond yields exhibited varied movements in the morning trading session on June 2, 2026, reflecting shifts in the financial markets. The yields on different types of bonds, including treasury bonds and monetary stabilization bonds, showed both increases and decreases in basis points.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield increased by 1.1 basis points to 3.208% from the previous session's 3.197%. The 2-year treasury bond registered a rise of 4.1 basis points, moving from 3.689% to 3.730%. Similarly, the 3-year treasury bond yield climbed by 3.3 basis points, reaching 3.823% from the previous 3.790%.

In contrast, the 10-year treasury bond yield saw a decline of 0.7 basis points, falling to 4.167% from 4.174%. On the monetary stabilization bond side, the 2-year MSB yield experienced an increase of 3.3 basis points, moving up to 3.735% from 3.702%. Meanwhile, the 3-year corporate bond rated AA- also saw an upward adjustment, with its yield rising by 3.1 basis points to 4.441% from the previous 4.410%.
