S. Korean Bond Yields Show Minor Changes as Year Ends

Seoul: The South Korean bond market displayed slight fluctuations on the morning of December 31, 2025, as the trading year drew to a close. Key treasury bond yields remained stable, with only the 3-year treasury bond experiencing a slight change.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the yields for the 1-year, 2-year, and 10-year treasury bonds stood unchanged at 2.556%, 2.796%, and 3.385%, respectively. The 3-year treasury bond yield saw a minor increase, moving from 2.952% to 2.954%, marking a change of 0.2 basis points.

The 2-year monetary stabilization bond and the 3-year corporate bond rated AA- also reported no change, maintaining their yields at 2.833% and 3.476%, respectively. These figures indicate a period of stability in bond yields as the market approached the end of the year.
