S. Korean Bond Yields Experience Upward Shift

Seoul: South Korean bond yields saw an increase on the morning of October 20, 2025, reflecting changes in the financial market dynamics. The yield for the 1-year treasury bond rose to 2.311% from the previous session's 2.304%, marking a change of 0.7 basis points.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-year treasury bond yield climbed by 2.0 basis points, reaching 2.513% compared to 2.493% in the previous session. Similarly, the 3-year treasury bond yield experienced a rise of 2.6 basis points, now standing at 2.581% from 2.555%.

Moreover, the 10-year treasury bond yield observed an increment of 1.2 basis points, moving to 2.897% from 2.885%. The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield also increased, seeing a change of 2.7 basis points to reach 2.505% from 2.478%.

Additionally, the 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield increased by 2.0 basis points, rising to 3.010% from the previous 2.990%. The changes in these yields indicate shifts in investor sentiment and market conditions.
