Seoul: South Korean bond yields showed a mixed movement on the morning of August 26, 2025, with short-term rates experiencing a decline while the 10-year treasury bond yield saw a slight increase.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield decreased by 0.6 basis points to 2.252% from the previous session's 2.258%. The 2-year TB yield fell by 1.2 basis points to 2.348%, down from 2.360%. The 3-year TB yield also decreased, recording a decline of 1.6 basis points to 2.418% from 2.434% in the previous session.
In contrast, the 10-year TB yield showed a minor increase, rising by 0.2 basis points to 2.854% compared to 2.852% in the previous session. The 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield decreased by 1.4 basis points to 2.364% from 2.378%. Additionally, the 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) yield saw a decrease of 1.1 basis points, moving to 2.904% from 2.915%.
