S. Korea Imposes Travel Ban on Balochistan Amid Rising Violence

Seoul: The foreign ministry has imposed a Level 4 travel ban on parts of Pakistan due to a surge in violence linked to coordinated separatist attacks. The ban, which is the highest level in the country's four-tier travel warning system, will be enforced in the southwestern province of Balochistan starting at 11 p.m., as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Yonhap News Agency, areas within Balochistan are also under a travel ban imposed by the Pakistani government. This measure underscores the heightened security concerns in the region. The Level 4 travel ban signifies the most severe travel alert, and individuals who enter or remain in these areas without special permission may face legal consequences.

The ministry has strongly advised those planning to travel to the affected region to cancel their plans. Furthermore, it has urged residents currently in Balochistan to evacuate the area promptly for their safety.
