Goheung: The Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA) announced that it has finalized November 27 as the launch date for the fourth mission of the country's indigenous Nuri space rocket. The announcement was made following a series of meetings held to discuss the launch and transportation logistics.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the decision was reached after a launch management committee meeting on Friday and a separate session on Monday that reviewed the transportation of the mission's primary payload, a next-generation midsized satellite. The backup launch window is set between November 28 and December 4.

The Nuri rocket, also known as the Korea Space Launch Vehicle II (KSLV-II), is slated for liftoff from the Naro Space Center in Goheung. The launch is scheduled to occur between 12:54 a.m. and 1:14 a.m., with the precise time to be determined the day before. In addition to the main satellite, the rocket will also carry 12 smaller satellites, expected to arrive at the space center by the end of October.

"This launch will be the first since the establishment of the space agency," stated KASA Administrator Yoon Young-bin. "We will ensure flawless preparation and work as one team to achieve success."
