President Lee’s Christmas Message Focuses on Hope and Social Integration

Seoul: President Lee Jae Myung on Thursday extended warm Christmas wishes to the nation, pledging to work diligently to enhance the lives of citizens in the coming year. In a heartfelt message shared on his official Facebook page, President Lee expressed his hope for everyone to enjoy a joyful day with their loved ones, emphasizing his commitment to infuse warmth and hope into daily lives.

According to Yonhap News Agency, President Lee reflected on the essence of Christmas through his message, highlighting the life of Jesus Christ as a symbol of compassion and support for those suffering and in need. He urged people to remember the true meaning of Christmas, encouraging a day of comfort and courage to propel them forward.

In a gesture of solidarity and spiritual reflection, President Lee, accompanied by First Lady Kim Hea Kyung, attended a church service in Incheon. Presidential spokesperson Kim Nam-jun stated that the president's participation aimed to deliver a message of comfort and hope transcending religious boundaries and to underscore the importance of social integration.

Later, the presidential couple participated in a Christmas Mass at Myeongdong Cathedral in central Seoul, further reinforcing their message of unity and hope during the festive season.
