According to Yonhap News Agency, North Korea replaced its defense minister with Kim Song-gi on August 30, signaling a strategic military shift. The following day, North Korea condemned the United States' hostile policies and vowed the "toughest" response, showcasing a continued adversarial stance. Concurrently, the White House has been in communication with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) regarding potential negotiations between former President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
