Pyongyang: North Korea has test-fired sea-to-surface strategic cruise guided missiles, as reported by the country's state media. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) stated that this test-fire was part of Pyongyang's efforts to enhance its national defense capabilities and strategic control. According to Yonhap News Agency, the North's Missile Administration executed the test the previous day, marking a step towards bolstering defense measures against potential adversaries. The missiles successfully hit their targets after traveling along a 1,500 kilometer-long elliptical and eight-shaped flight path for a duration of 7,507 to 7,511 seconds. KCNA emphasized that the launch did not adversely affect the security of neighboring countries. Kim Jong-un, who oversaw the launch, remarked on the continual perfection of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) war deterrence capabilities. He reiterated the DPRK's commitment to responsibly fulfilling its mission of defending peace and stability through enh anced military strength in the future.
