Hsinchu: Naver Cloud, the cloud operator of Naver Corp., announced that its business messaging platform, Line Works, has been selected as the official business tool for the Hsinchu city government. This selection marks Line Works' inaugural entry into Taiwan's public sector.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hsinchu is recognized as a technology hub in Taiwan and hosts major tech companies, including the world's leading chip manufacturer, TSMC. The agreement to implement Line Works is part of Hsinchu city's initiative to enhance its administrative systems with the integration of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies.

Line Works began its operations in Taiwan in October of the previous year. Since its launch, it has gained over 10,000 users across approximately 150 local companies and institutions.
