Mixed Trends in KOSPI 200 as Daewoong Pharm and KCC Lead Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed mixed trends with notable movements in stock prices. Daewoong Pharm and KCC emerged as leaders in gains, reporting significant increases in their closing prices. Daewoong Pharm's stock rose by 6,300, closing at 142,700, while KCC saw an increase of 5,000, reaching a closing price of 255,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also experienced upward trends. ORION Holdings reported a gain of 640, closing at 19,460. KIWOOM saw an uptick of 2,700, ending at 143,400. HYUNDAIDEPTST and HanmiPharm also recorded gains, closing at 62,100 and 260,000, respectively. Meanwhile, SK Innovation and Amorepacific noted increases in their stock prices, closing at 93,500 and 125,200.

Conversely, some companies faced declines. SKBP reported a decrease of 1,100, closing at 97,900. Hyundai Rotem and Misto Holdings also saw declines, ending at 116,300 and 36,800, respectively. ShinhanGroup and LGELECTRONICS experienced decreases, closing at 50,900 and 70,800, respectively. Additionally, Celltrion faced a decrease of 900, closing at 159,400.

The financial sector showed mixed results. KBFinancialGroup reported an increase of 900, closing at 94,500, while HanaFinancialGroup saw a decrease, ending at 64,700. Meritz Financial experienced a decline, closing at 121,400. The overall market displayed a varied performance, reflecting different trends across sectors.
