Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance as several major stocks showed varying movements in their closing prices. OCI Holdings saw a rise, closing at 200,000 with an increase of 2,800, while LS ELECTRIC remained unchanged at 788,000. Hanssem also showed no change, maintaining a closing price of 40,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, some companies experienced declines. SamsungHvyInd fell by 150 to close at 28,150, and KOREA ZINC dropped significantly by 59,000 to 1,526,000. HANWHA SOLUTIONS also saw a reduction, closing at 40,050, down by 250. Hanchem and KEPCO experienced decreases, closing at 267,500 and 43,400, respectively.

Conversely, certain stocks showed gains. F and F increased by 1,500 to 64,500, while HDKSOE rose by 1,500 to 391,000. KT and G reported a significant gain, closing at 163,200 with an increase of 4,700. NCsoft's stock saw a notable rise as well, closing at 234,000, up by 16,000. LG Uplus slightly increased by 60 to 16,190, and Kangwonland gained 50, closing at 16,790.

Other stocks that recorded declines include SamsungSecu, which decreased by 1,400 to 103,000, and Doosan Enerbility, which fell by 1,200 to 100,000. Samsung Life closed at 230,000, down by 8,500, and KIWOOM experienced a decrease of 12,500 to 447,000. Notably, SK's stock fell by 2,500, closing at 339,500.

In contrast, KOREA AEROSPACE saw an increase, closing at 199,900, up by 9,500. LGCHEM also reported a rise, closing at 355,000 with an increase of 10,500. LG CNS and LG H and H saw gains, closing at 63,000 and 251,000, respectively. HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY experienced an increase as well, closing at 63,300 with a rise of 1,800.
