Seoul: Lotte Wellfood Co. on Friday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 17 billion won (US$11.6 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company said in a regulatory filing that it continued to post an operating loss of 10.5 billion won for the October-December period, compared with a loss of 19.6 billion won a year earlier. Revenue rose 5.1 percent to 1.01 trillion won.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the loss was 475.5 percent higher than the average estimate, based on a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
