LG Electronics Set to Reveal New LG Gram Laptops with EXAONE AI at CES

Seoul: LG Electronics announced on Thursday its plan to unveil new LG Gram laptops that incorporate its generative artificial intelligence model, EXAONE, at the upcoming CES event next week.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean tech giant revealed that the LG Gram Pro AI 2026 will feature EXAONE 3.5, a sophisticated large language model developed by its in-house AI research team. This integration will enable a wide array of on-device AI functions, enhancing user experience.

The Gram Pro series is constructed using Aerominum, a next-generation material often utilized in the aerospace industry, providing a lightweight yet durable design. The 16-inch Gram Pro model weighs 1,199 grams, underscoring the company's commitment to portability and innovation.

A standout feature named My Archive is said to create a personal database from files stored on a user's computer, facilitating advanced search capabilities and AI-generated responses. The 16-inch Gram Pro also boasts a 77Wh battery, which offers up to 27 hours of usage on a single charge. Additionally, the laptop supports fast charging, allowing more than nine hours of use with just 30 minutes of charging.

LG Electronics plans to launch seven new LG Gram models in the domestic market starting Tuesday. These include the LG Gram Pro AI, LG Gram Pro 360 AI, and LG Grambook AI, signaling a robust expansion in their product lineup.
