Seoul: LG Electronics Inc. announced the opening of a new showroom for its luxury brand SKS in southern Seoul, aiming to strengthen its foothold in the high-end built-in appliance market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the showroom, situated in the Gangnam district, showcases SKS appliances that are crafted to enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of luxury kitchens. These appliances are displayed alongside furniture developed in collaboration with Italian design brands Molteni and C and Arclinea.

The showroom provides visitors with the opportunity to experience LG's latest premium kitchen innovations through various SKS products. This includes refrigerators, ovens, wine cellars, dishwashers, and induction cooktops. Additionally, personalized consultations for home solutions are available to visitors.

In February, LG Electronics rebranded its Signature Kitchen Suite to SKS, focusing more on the expanding built-in appliance market while reinforcing its position as a leading home appliance brand.
