Seoul: LG Electronics Inc. on Friday reported its 2025 net income of 1.22 trillion won (US$850.3 million), marking an increase of 106.4 percent from the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company revealed in a regulatory filing that it achieved an operating profit of 2.47 trillion won for the year, a decrease from the previous year's 3.41 trillion won. Despite the dip in operating profit, annual sales saw a rise of 1.7 percent, reaching 89.2 trillion won.
