Seoul: LG Display on Wednesday reported its second-quarter net loss of 418.8 billion won (US$283 million), shifting from a profit of 890.8 billion won a year earlier. The company, one of the world's leading display manufacturers, disclosed these figures in a regulatory filing, indicating a challenging financial performance for the April-June period.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company continued to experience an operating loss, amounting to 107.7 billion won, compared with a loss of 116 billion won in the same period the previous year. Despite this, LG Display's revenue showed a slight increase of 0.4 percent, totaling 5.61 trillion won.
