According to Yonhap News Agency, these remarks were made during a dinner at Cheong Wa Dae with Rep. Han Byung-do, the newly elected DP floor leader, and other members of the party's floor leadership. Rep. Lee Ju-hee, the party's floor spokesperson, conveyed this information in a written briefing. The president took the opportunity to express his warm welcome to his colleagues, with whom he has navigated numerous political challenges, and extended hearty congratulations to the new floor leadership on their commencement.

President Lee urged the party to hasten the legislative process concerning the administration's key policy agenda in the latter half of the year, as noted by the party spokesperson. Responding to the president's call for action, Han acknowledged the importance of advancing three significant national projects that aim to propel the country into a new era of progress.
