Lee, Canadian PM Carney Hold Talks on Sidelines of G7 Summit in France

Evian-les-bains: South Korean President Lee Jae Myung held a bilateral meeting Tuesday with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the sidelines of a Group of Seven (G7) summit in Evian-les-Bains, France. The meeting focused on discussing bilateral relations between South Korea and Canada, coinciding with Lee's participation in the G7 summit as the leader of an invited country.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the G7 summit, consisting of a bloc of influential countries, is addressing joint responses to global challenges. The agenda includes efforts to end Russia's war in Ukraine and address the ongoing war in the Middle East. The meeting between Lee and Carney highlights the importance of strengthening ties and collaboration between South Korea and Canada in the context of these global issues.
