Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed notable fluctuations in stock prices as several companies experienced significant changes in their closing prices. Among the prominent gainers, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. closed at 433,000, marking an increase of 11,500, while Doosan saw a rise of 64,000 to reach a closing price of 1,165,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also saw upward trends, including HyundaiEng and Const, which increased by 16,700 to close at 155,200, and SK, which rose by 16,500 to end at 409,000. HyundaiAutoever showed a notable increase as well, closing at 495,000, up by 62,500.
Conversely, some companies witnessed declines. KPIC dropped by 2,500 to 188,200, while HD Hyundai Heavy Industries fell by 2,000 to 594,000. OCI Holdings experienced a decline of 3,200, closing at 147,700, and Hanwha Aerospace dropped by 29,000 to 1,212,000.
Meanwhile, several companies remained stable or experienced minor changes. NHIS remained unchanged at 36,400, and SamsungHvyInd saw a minor decrease of 50, closing at 28,950. Overall, the KOSPI 200 index demonstrated a mixture of gains and losses, reflecting varied performance across different sectors.
