Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a range of movements in its latest trading session. Notably, several stocks experienced gains while others saw declines, reflecting the varied market conditions.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hankook Tire and Technology observed an increase, closing at 59,700, up by 700. Meanwhile, Emart faced a downturn, closing at 79,000, down by 600. Kolmar Korea and Meritz Financial both saw upward trends, with their stocks rising by 600 each, closing at 65,400 and 121,300 respectively. HanmiPharm marked a significant gain, closing at 483,000, up by 3,500.
Additionally, SD Biosensor ended the session at 9,900 with an increase of 100. In contrast, iM Financial Group and DoubleUGames experienced declines, closing at 14,460 and 51,700, down by 130 and 300, respectively. Chongkundang's stock rose by 900, closing at 86,800. Samsung Biologics remained unchanged at 1,221,000, while Netmarble climbed to 56,400, up by 400.
Krafton experienced a notable rise, closing at 275,000, up by 3,000. Doosan Bobcat saw a slight decline, closing at 58,600, down by 100. HL Mando and HanjinKal both observed positive movements, closing at 38,000 and 103,500, up by 600 and 1,500, respectively. HD Hyundai and its Electric division recorded gains, with the former up by 1,500 to 226,000 and the latter making a substantial increase of 18,000 to 866,000.
Woori Financial Group maintained its position at 27,000, unchanged from the previous session. Orion and SKBS both reported increases, closing at 106,700 and 56,000, up by 200 and 500, respectively. APR observed a rise to 213,500, up by 2,500, while SK Chemicals saw a significant increase of 3,800, closing at 79,800.
SK ie technology and KakaoPay finished higher, closing at 32,600 and 53,900, up by 800 and 400, respectively. DL E and C also experienced an upward trend, closing at 42,150, up by 650. KakaoBank rose slightly by 100, ending the session at 22,550. In contrast, Samsung Electronics faced a decline, closing at 102,800, down by 300.
NHIS and HMM both experienced downward trends, closing at 22,250 and 20,000, down by 200 each. Hanwha Vision and LG Innotek saw declines as well, closing at 48,000 and 244,500, down by 1,000 and 7,500, respectively. Lotte Chemical Corp, however, rose by 2,200, ending at 87,000, while Hyundai WIA increased by 600, closing at 57,500.
Kumho Petrochem and Isu Specialty Chemical reported gains, closing at 121,000 and 55,600, up by 300 and 2,000, respectively. Hanwha Aerospace faced a decline, closing at 956,000, down by 4,000. Lastly, HDC Holdings decreased by 180, closing at 17,360, while Mobis remained stable at 300,000.
