Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index experienced a range of stock performances in its latest trading session, with several companies seeing significant gains. Notable increases were observed in NAVER, which rose by 6,400 to a closing price of 180,000, and HANMISemi, which climbed 17,800 to 210,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also showed positive movements, including NC, which increased by 6,000 to 207,000, and KIWOOM, which finished at 222,500 after a rise of 12,500. Hanwha Ocean and LG H and H also saw substantial gains, closing at 65,000 and 274,500, respectively.
Conversely, some stocks experienced declines. ShinhanGroup decreased by 800 to 93,400, while GS fell by 1,400 to 93,000. KDHC and SK Innovation also saw reductions, with KDHC down by 1,400 to 75,500 and SK Innovation dropping 3,000 to 152,000.
Other noteworthy performances included SAMSUNG C and T, which surged by 19,000 to 286,500, and HanmiPharm, which increased by 11,500 to 397,500. Meanwhile, LIG Defense and Aerospace made a significant gain of 24,000, closing at 574,000.
